Skin's Boni Yogurt Bonimini Wash Off Mud Pack Review

         Today I am reviewing Skin's Boni Yogurt Bonimini Wash Off Mud Packs. I was sent 3 pods of these last month complimentary in exchange for my honest review of the product. Skin's Boni is a Korean beauty brand and beyond that I know nothing about it; the entire Skin's Boni website is in Korean and Google Translate translated nothing useful as most of the Korean was embedded in images.



I went on over to CosDNA to see if I could find a translated ingredient list as the packaging is in Korean but the only entry was for a different mud pack that they make. I was able to use the Google Traslate App on my phone though and get the ingredients list for each one so I made an entry for each:

Now I don't read Korean so I'm sure these are not totally accurate but I translated them dozens of times on my phone to get the following ingredients lists:

Bamboo water, Kaolin, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Bentonite, Oryza Sativa Bran, Pinus Sylvestris Leaf extract (5%), Caprylyl/capryl Glucoside, Fermented Lactobacillus solution, Cyclodextrin,  Allantoin, Tocopheryl Acetate, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Dipalmitoyl Ricinoleate, Persimmon Tree Leaf extract, extract of Sulfur, Citric Acid, Disodium EDTA, Magnesium Aluminum Silicate, Xanthum Gum, Benzyl Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin,  Raspberry Ketone, Chlorphenesin, fragrance.

Skin's Boni Yogurt Bonimini Wash Off Mud Pack Charcoal ingredients:

Hazel Water, Kaolin, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Bentonite,  Charcoal Powder (5%), Caprylyl/Caprylic Glucoside, Fermented Lactobacillus solution, Cyclodextrin, Allantoin, Tocopheryl Acetate, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Locust Bean Extract, Marjoram extract, Three Hundred Bloom extract, Black Soybean extract, Disodium EDTA,  Aluminum Silicate, Xanthan Gum, Benzyl Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin Raspberry Ketone, Chlorphenesin, Horsetail extract.

Skin's Boni Yogurt Bonimini Wash Off Mud Pack Green Tea ingredients:

Green tea (43%), Kaolin, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Green Tea powder (5%), Bentonite, Caprylyl/Caprylic Glucoside, Lactobacillus Fermentation solution, Dextrin, Tocopheryl Acetate, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Green Tea extract (.08%), Centella Asiatica extract, Witch Hazel Leaf extract, Arundinaceous WHeat (foxtail) extract, Magnesium Aluminum Silicate, Xanthum Gum, Benzyl Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Raspberry Ketone, Disodium EDTA, Chlorphenesin, fragrance. 

           Each of the pods contains 15 ml of product which is enough for 2 - 3 uses depending on how much of your face and neck you cover. I have a larger face area-wise and was able to apply a thick layer to my entire face twice for each pod. The pods are not filled to capacity (photo below); they come about half filled which means a lot less packaging could be used for these. All three of the mud masks contain yogurt (lactobacillus fermentation solution) and are a lot less drying then I thought they'd be and I found the most moisturizing to be the Pine Needles. My favorite by far is the Green Tea; this one is majorly exfoliating and left my face feeling rejuvenated, bright, and smooth.

Skin's Boni Yogurt Bonimini Wash Off Mud Packs Individual Ratings (0 - 5)

• Effectiveness = 5
• These little mud mask pods are intended to moisturize, revitalize, and nourish and they do! They are also meant to restore the skin's natural pH level (5.5). I can't speak for the pH level but my face never felt dry or tight after washing the masks off. Full five points awarded.
• Packaging = 3.5
• The packaging is extremely cute,colorful, and fun. The packaging (other than the foil top) is recyclable. The product fills less than half of the packaging, so that is wasteful. The entire package is in Korean so it is difficult to read ingredients and instructions. Four points awarded.
• Physical Qualities = 5
• These mud masks have a very thick consistency that goes on easily and stays on. The mud dries thoroughly and fast. There does not appear to be any attempt to alter color. The aromas are pleasant and natural smelling. Full five points awarded.

Skin's Boni Yogurt Bonimini Wash Off Mud Packs Total Rating = 4.75

         As with all products, your mileage may vary (YMMV). The Skin's Boni Yogurt Bonimini Wash Off Mud Packs are cute, fun to use, and surprisingly hydrating for a mud mask. I absolutely ADORE the Green Tea one due to its exfoliating properties and will be purchasing single pods of those in the future.
