Huge Bug Proof Tent!

          I ordered this huge ass bug proof shelter from Amazon.com last week! Although I knew the size when I ordered it (13' x 9' x 6.9') I'm still pretty blown away by it in person. It is large enough to place over a 6 person picnic table and still have room to walk around the outside of the benches! We will be using it primarily in the spring through fall months but up here in Alaska there's too much going on to always be inside. In the winter months this will be perfect for setting up by the ice skating ponds with a heater and some snacks!

This mesh screened canopy tent has a floor area of 117 square feet, weighs about 20 lbs, and sets up super fast. Two of us set it up in less than  minutes and tore it down in about two minutes. There are 3 normal tent poles that you put through the top (roof) first, then you attach four larger poles that hold the tent up vertically. There are stakes to attach to the ground to keep the wind from blowing it around and you can enter through either of the larger, zippered sides.

Below is the tent and stakes shoddily rolled up after assembly and disassembly and put in the bag; there is plenty of room! A huge pet peeves of mine about most tents is how they barely fit in their bag without the most perfectly flat rolling conditions and unwrinkled fabric.
