Getting last month's empties post out before mid-month is a huge deal for me :)

Most of these were samples from subscription boxes or Sephora GWPs, I don't recall where I got the Proactiv, and I purchased the Aveda Toner and the Clean & Clear Spot Treatment.

The Best:

I absolutely adore the Paula's Choice BHA, it applies evenly and dries quickly with a cotton ball. The Mudmasky was surprisingly hydrating, physically exfoliates when washed off, and had a delicious earthy scent that reminded me of hiking in wet woods.

The Worst:

The Trestique Brow Pencil was just awful, it was like using a child's crayon. It is incapable of making a fine, feather like stroke and looks completely unnatural; I used it twice and am tossing.

Compare:

I emptied two Vitamin C serums last month; Sunday Riley CEO and Ole Henriksen Truth Serum. Although I and everyone around me enjoyed the aroma of the Sunday Riley serum, the Ole Henriksen worked better on my skin at brightening and hydrating. I was able to use twice a day with no dryness whereas the Sunday Riley was a tad too drying but damn did it smell AMAZING.

I'm disappointed in myself for not making it through more sheet masks last month. It held between -18 and 10 F* most the month and my skin would have benefited greatly from some extra masking sessions instead of the bare minimum 2x/week. I thought the best mask here was the Leaders Insolution Brightening Recovery Mask and the worst Dermal Korea's Wine (only because it smells STRONGLY of wine and my face did too for about an hour after use).
